i had a lot of fun today. steph came to pick me up so we could hang out. we went to west covina to eat at chevy's. my family, steph, and bryan were all right. chevy's is really good. i really like their chips. we went shopping for a little bit. steve and barry's is hella cheap. last time i went there everything was $10 or less. this time it was $7.98 or less. bryan and steph, we got ripped off! haha! we walked around the mall for a couple of hours. we got some jamba juice and decided to watch a movie. there aren't any good movies out so we went to citadel. wow, the mall and citadel in one day. that is a landmark for steph and me. outlets are fun! it was a very productive shopping and catching up day. wOOt!

happy singles awareness day! valentines day this year was not too bad. i wore my i heart stewie shirt! =D i only had two classes today which makes me very happy. after lunch i went tanning with briggitte next to the pool. that felt pretty good. i bummed out in the room watching "family guy" and "wedding crashers" while painting. heidi dragged me along to the basketball game but i am very glad that she did. whee! giselle and briggitte came a little later. chedda came to pick us up. ronson and matt were at michelle's house cooking dinner. christina, taylor, and sarah came a little later. it was a delicious dinner. the dessert was soo good! =P the ambience kind of got ruined when we decided to watch "red eye" for our entertainment. but after the movie, chedda got thet guitar and started singing jack johnson songs and "you and me" by lifehouse. that was nice. i already loved the song "belle" but chedda got me to love it even more. he was practicing his guitar skills because he needed to impress this one girl. she seems really nice. we all sat around the fire place and hung out for a little while. amy picked us up. i don't mean to sound racist, but i spent a lot of time with white people today. i was actually a minority. pretty funny. vday grossed me out the most when i walked back to my dorm and saw four couples making out. i am still kind of anti-vday so..

tonight i watched "a walk to remember." it was never a "wow" movie for me. i liked it but it did not melt my heart whenever i thought about it. but tonight that all changed. it is such a good movie, but it makes me so sad. aah, movie nights are fun!

connie and i went on an outing to the mall and we found the strangest things happening. connie is usually the one that buys things and i just kind of stand there and look at the clothes knowing i won't buy them. connie would ask me if a certain item was worth it or if it was cute or whatever. i usually gave the financial advice on our runs to the mall but today it was different. connie told me not to buy a particular item because it was "not worth it." what! financial advice from connie?!?! what is the world coming to? connie was being really thrifty. she usually has no problem spending $30 for an item but today she would not even spend $10. i had no problem spending money because i got birthday money. connie and i shop together so much that we rub off on each other.. maybe a little too much. haha!

last night i got in bed and felt crappy. then the girls came back from ice skating. i can't ice skate so i didn't go. all of them felt crappy too! briggitte, giselle, heidi, and i all had issues and felt like crap. it's so weird. we seem to do everything together: travel as a pack, get our periods at the same time, feel crappy about similar things at the same time. giselle suggested that we pull an all nighter and watch "donnie darko." we didn't stay up all night but we did watch the movie. it's trippy! we fell asleep around 4:30ish. my roomies are the best! i love those girls! i'm really happy with my current living arrangement. it's so much fun and strangly i get more homework done faster ever since they moved in. there is so much laughter, farting, venting, and stupidity in our "home." i'm glad those girls are my friend. aww, friends forever! =D

good day. i went back to the dorm. i had so much homework this weekend but i did not get any of it done. i spent an hour at the dorm and i got more than half of it done. haha! briggitte, heidi, jon jon, and i went to castle park. mini golf and arcades are fun! when we got back i went back to the dorm and bummed out. i watched pulp fiction, again, and family guy. wOOts!

friday night was interesting to say the least. rachel and her roomies had a little party. drunk people make me laugh! that's why it is good to be sober. you can see all the other people getting drunk off their asses and you can just sit there and be entertained. good times.

tonight i went to the clippers vs. sonics game. my aunt gets free tickets from work. the seats were courtside. nice. we got free tickets and free parking. the only thing that was not free was the food, but my aunt paid for that so everything was free for me. she gave my cousin and i the left over change from the food money. getting $40 to watch a basketball game and eat is not bad. not bad at all. =D

excellent day! =D in my drawing class i had to draw my hand. it started cramping up after a while. briggitte, heidi, jazmin, and i went to victoria gardens. giselle was supposed to come but she lagged it. the whole trip was one big laughing fest.

back to school. i got back to my dorm yesterday and i did not want to be there. i still don't want to be at school but there really is nothing i can do about it. a lot of people are not coming back this quarter. i was hanging out with la, jason, russy, and some of the loma linda girls, and it took me a while to realize that they were not coming back this quarter. boo! monday nights are not going to be as fun anymore. next quarter more people are leaving too. this makes me want to hurry up and leave so i can go to loma linda.

my first day of winter quarter has been good. i got out of my classes at least thirty minutes earlier than i was supposed to. professors are lazy today. i LOVE my a&p 2 class! dr. grismer wears flip flops, cargo shorts, and a t-shirt to class. in his syllabus he wrote "cheating is optional unless i catch you." it's good to know i have options. =D this class is so much better than my a&p 1 class. i am actually going to enjoy physiology.

the phrases "DISNEYLAND!" and "let's do the wave" were the most commonly used words of today. jen and i went to sga to visit. it was good seeing all those people. briggitte, rachel, jed, chris, megan, bryan, jenelyn, and i went to eat. we got back to school and visited ozzie. good times. jen and i finally left for disneyland. we got there around 3. it doesn't matter anyway. it's free so it's not like we are wasting anything. thank you adrian. the winnie the pooh ride is awesome! we watched the second half of the usc vs. texas game at the espn zone. there was a huge crowd that started to gather. that game was crazy! CRAZY! even though usc lost it was still a good game. to take our minds off of the loss we went on matterhorn. that ride has never been more fun than it was today. throughout the entire ride jen and i would scream "DISNEYLAND!" see, this is how we lose our voices. i was already losing it from the day before, that's why my voice sounded to retarded today. today was fun. we kept doing the wave whenever we did something cool or were just standing in line. we are officially the most kiddy and lamest group adrian has ever taken to disneyland with his free pass. YAY!! =D

today was really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really fun! we did not do anything particularly exciting today. i guess we just acted like we were on crack or something. we went to various sports stores so jenelyn could look for some hockey equipment. it made me want to start roller blading again. good times. jenelyn had a doctor appointment so khaing and i had nothing to do. we filled up our time by RECYCLING (HOORAY) and watching this one teen chick flick. jenelyn came back and we went to old town pasadena. tomorrow is the annual rose bowl so they had the FOOD BOWL. the street was closed off and food stores and radio stations set up booths where they could sell food or do whatever. it was so cool but hella expensive. the funnel cake was mmm mmm good! but the really cool part was when we were about to leave. we were just about to cross the street when a float from the 117th annual tournament of roses parade started coming by. then more started coming. i guess they were relocating them or throwing them away. on one of the floats, the mermaid's head was cut off. haha! there were about 10 to 15 floats that passed by. i took pictures and recorded it. haza! on the way back to khaing's house i could not stop laughing. we sang sappy love songs with opera voices. i was really really hyper and i still am!! =D

i am going to go and visit sga tomorrow. wOOts! i think i will be there from 9 until 11 because jenelyn needs to talk to ozzie about physics stuff. then i'm going to DISNEYLAND!! for FREE!! thank you adrian, though i highly doubt you will ever read this. tomorrow shall be an enjoyable day. =D

new years eve 2005. it does not feel like the end of the year. seems like just another day. i can't believe 2005 is almost over. there is a lot i could say about this past year. there were a lot of great times and craptastic times. well, good-bye 2005. HELLO 2006! that's weird to say. see ya'll next year. =D

next monday was supposed to be a bum out day for me. now i can either go to disneyland, snowboarding, or paintballing. i'm leaning more to disneyland because it's FREE!
disneyland reminds me of the it's a small world ride, my favoritest ride there (i'm a kid at heart =D ), which reminds me of bryan freaking out about the dolls on the ride at grad nite which cracks me up every single time. good times. =D

the past three months have been movie filled, but the last few days i have seen really good movies. on christmas i watched "fun with dick and jane." i was rollin. ROLLIN!! good times. "memiors of a geisha" is a really good movie. i'm kind of sad that i did not get to read the book first but now i am starting to read the book. i'm sure i will like the book more even though the movie was great. i finally got to watch "king kong" today. it was a very good movie. the cinamintography was really good but if you sit too close, like i did, it can make you a little dizzy.

today we had our third annual christmas party! i love that no matter how far apart we get from eat other through the year, we always get together at christmas time and have fun, like old times. my secret santa was byron. he got me a hollister gift card. jenelyn gave out gifts to us girl. it seemed like she gave us presents from the nationality of our most recent ex's. khaing got something japanese, kristina got something japanese, and i got something korean. i like mine even though i don't know how to play it. it's korean jacks or something. kristina and kris got really excited about it though so it must be fun. =D outburst is a hilarious game! OUR TEAM WON!! wOOts! mark, teo, and kevin really got into it. aww, i love my friends!

christmas vacation has been fun! i went snowboarding yesterday! i fell a lot but i want to go again.. even though i suck and now i am sooo sore. my vacation has consisted on hanging out with friends, shopping, and going out some more. i love it!
i am not feeling thet christmas spirit. i was looking at the skyline outside of my balcony of downtown LA. one of the buildings lit the top of its building with green, red, and white. very christmasy. i'm not really in the blogging mood so yeah.. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! =D

i have never wanted to get rid of money more quickly than i did when i had to finish up my cafe card. i was asking my friends if they wanted to eat so i could buy them food. haha! i ended up with a case of 24 lime green tea snapples, a case of 12 caramel frappuccinos, a case of 24 sparkletts water, a case of 36 twix, and 2 cases of 12 v8 splash drinks. i love it! if anyone is hungry just go to my house because i am taking some home. and next quarter, if you're still hungry, come to my dorm and take a look at my store. =D
i am so glad this quarter is over! it's just that i don't want to go home but i don't want to stay here either. waah.

i can't believe it's 4 in the morning and i'm still awake.
today was fun. after my final, i went to the diner to watch tv with briggitte, kristina, laura, and jeanne. then i knocked out in my room because i did not get enough sleep the night before. laura woke me up so i could get my presents in kristina and her room. yay! i ended up staying in their room for more than two hours. then we went to get thai food with LA and marvin. yummy! the girl there was really nice. i like that place. marvin had to wear a hat shaped like a birthday cake for the whole day. it was so funny! then kris, laura, briggitte, and i went to the mall. we saw julie ha there with her roommate. that was random. we got really cool underwear from ae. heehee! we were at the mall for forever. i finally got back to my dorm and started packing. i really need to get rid of some of my clothes. at around 10 pm we left for victoria gardens. kabuki was closed so we ate at cheesecake factory. there were a bunch of us! i felt bad for our waiter, but we left him a massive tip. =D we went to the guy's dorm and stayed there for four hours. i said bye to russy. =( now i am here in my dorm, bored, and not finished packing. i'm so glad this quarter is over, but it was really fun!

at exactly 9:00 am i officially finished my first quarter of college. wOOts! =D

brian, briggitte, and i went to eat pho for dinner. we tried the one near tyler, pho ha. it is cheaper, nicer, and they give bigger servings but pho 99 has better food. viet food.. yum. and tomorrow, sushi.. i think/hope. =D

as i studied for finals, jazmin came to our room and we had a spill canvas, spice girls, and backstreet boys fest. finals week makes people act like they are on crack. SMARTIES!! hahah..

connie and i went to the cafe to get some lunch. i saw some girls getting boxes from the candy cabinet. i spotted a box of twix and told connie to crab it. then i went into the storage room and grabbed a case of caramel fraps. SCORE! i love the end of the quarter at the cafe because you can get loads and loads of junk so you don't waste the money on your cafe card. i have $164 left for the remainder of the quarter. i estimate that i will only spend $80 which means i will have $80 to splurge on junk. wOOts!
i got back to my room after lunch. i remembered not making my bed this morning but somehow it was made. i asked briggitte if she did it. it was giselle. THANKS MOM! haha..
i like getting free things. la sierra gives out a lot of free food to their students to help them with school. before they gave cookies, then pie and hot chocolate, and today they gave us pizza and jamba juice for dead week. that was freaking awesome!
i watched the LLA vs. LSA basketball game with the girls and russy. it started getting crazy after the third quarter and they went into over time. i miss basketball.

having to wait for math to come around has truely become a pain in the ass. i can't wait until next quarter when my classes will all be condensed in to a six hour slot in my day.

dead week has hit me hard. actually, only the first two days of it were hell. my last hell tuesday was yesterday. ironicly, tuesdays next quarter will be my best day.

i watched "moulin rouge" again last night. i have not watched it in a few years so it seemed somewhat new to me. i cried this time. COME WHAT MAY!! i love that song! =D that song and YOUR SONG. those two song have been stuck in my head for the past fourteen hours..

my life has taken a very VERY interesting turn. i am anxious to see how this turns out. =D =D

contrary to what my intension were, my weekend was unproductive. i did, however, attend a play at ELAC called "sticks and bones." it was three hours long but it seem a hell of a lot longer. at first i thought i was getting the play and the metaphors being applied. i was wrong. the play only further supported my suspisions that i am not a very intellectual person and am incapable of processing complex thoughts or ideas presented to me. thank you david rabe! but i found that i liked productions done by non-sda schools due to the fact that there is cussing, sex, and present more realistic situations.
on sunday i had open lab for cat dissections. i officially hate cats. i did not mind them before. they were even cute at times. but now, they make me mad. i guess the dissection is just getting to me. as i walked into the lab, i saw a white bag. i thought it was a cat but as i got closer to it i realized that it was a body bag. some grad students were dissecting a cadaver. i thought that i could handle cadavers but as i passed by the dead body i soon realized that they spooked me a little. after being in the same room with her for a while, i got used to it and got curious. too bad the grad students were working on the other side of where i was standing. hmm, i wonder if i can handle dissecting a dead person much less touching one. we'll see..

the past week was full of eating and sleeping. last sunday i ate at onami with steph and bryan. we did not get our $15 worth but it was so good. we did some shopping.. it's only $10! haha!
my internet does not work at home so i could not get online. kristina called me monday night and when i answered she said "thank God you're alive!" she thought something happened to me or something because she has not seen me online. aww.. she cares! =D
on tuesday i went to pf chang's with kevin and kristina. we eat like beasts! we messed up the kiosk khaing works at in paseo because she told us to. she does not like that girl that was working that night. that girl seemed to be getting annoye with us. that means a job well done on our part.
thanksgiving day was food filled. our food varities were strange this year. we had russian, viet, indian, american, and filipino food. and we watched "the longest yard" as a family. that was weird.
i did not get to go to the mall on friday as i planned because i went out with khaing and kristina. we went to noodlbe world then left after five minutes. then we went to noodle planet. fickle are we. we met us with the guys at bolsa chica beach for the bonfire. more people trickled on as the evening approached. smores are yummy!! =D
on saturday sheila had her birthday party at john's incredible pizza company. so much food! so many games! so much fun! khaing, rachel, briggitte, and i tried doing the basketball games. it was the really high ones. even with us four working together, we only got two in. that's just sad. sheila got really addicted to this gambling type game. but she got a lot of tickets from it so its not all bad.
i can't wait until winter break. whee!
