the past few days have been really fun.

on tuesday i went on a spontaneous one day trip to san francisco with kristina, kris, and marvin. we were supposed to leave at 7 am but ended up leaving three hours later. we got to SF around 4 which gave us five hours to roam the city. we ate and went shopping. then we went to the golden gate bridge since kristina has never seen it. it was freezing cold so we went to get some chowder at the warf. mmmm yum! it was a really fun trip. the ride up there and back down was really funny. car games can get interesting if you have nothing to do. =D

last night i went to a mae concert with bryan. vedera and the new amsterdams were also touring with them. i have never heard of them but i like the songs i heard from them last night. mae sounded really good. yay for mae!

regrets? yeah, i've got 'em.



...but oh well. that's life. =)

yesterday i went to six flags with kristina, khaing, kevin, kris, marvin, mark, john, and matt. it was so empty. the longest we had to wait in line was 30 minutes. i saw jina there. it was so random. i like tatsu except for the very last part. we went on about 8 rides which is really good for it being a sunday and during summer. the day seemed to go by so slow. all of the rides, except tatsu and gold rusher, got all of us sick. the rides aren't the same. they aren't as smooth as they used to be. even though i felt kind of sick, it was still really fun. khaing kept putting her finger on my arm and said "i'm not touching you!" i was so tired when i got home. i'm still a little sore from yesterday and my voice is really bad. last night when i was trying to sleep, i felt like i was going through the loop on dejavu. i still feel like i'm on a roller coaster.

yesterday i got back from being in the philippines for the past three weeks. the three weeks went by really fast, but it was hot and humid the whole time. my dad and his sister built a house in the philippines so now we have a place to stay when we go there instead of leeching off our relatives. i really like our house. it has two master bedrooms, 2 regular rooms, and a maid's room. the bathrooms and kitchen are nicer than the ones i have here. as soon as we got there, we went shopping. and for the next three days we kept on going shopping.

on saturday night we went to the province to visit family. i have so many nieces and nephews there. it's nuts! i had so much fun in the province. the little kids are so funny and all of them can dance so well.

when we got back to the city we shopped somemore. we would leave the house at 11 am and get home around 9 or 10 pm. i have never been shopping so much in my life.

that weekend we went to the island of mindoro. we stayed at my aunt's house then on saturday afternoon we checked into a resort. the next day we didn't have anything to do so we spontaneously decided to go to another resort, a better resort. we went to puerto galera's white beach resort. we only planned to stay there for the afternoon but ended up checking in. we went snorkling at an excluded beach which we had all to ourselves. i scraped my knee on some of the corals. my mom saw them, laughed, and said that it is my souvenir. at night we walked around the beach. i saw so many gay guys dressed as girls. it was so funny!

when we got back we spent two days shopping. i finally bought things. it was only during my third week there that i actually bought something. that thursday we had a house blessing. i saw so many people i didn't know but it seems that they knew who i was.

for my last week there all i did was shop. it rained a few times during the last week but i liked it when it rained. before the rain came it would be hotter than most days. but once the rain came the weather was really nice.

sunday night was our last night there so i went shopping with some of my cousins. i met my couin-in-law's gay cousin. he is so funny! i think gay filipino guys are a lot funnier than american gay guys. he gave me a pedicure. gay guys are pretty good at pedicures. haha! when i got back to the house i found out that there was a brown out since 5 pm. it lasted until 2 or 3 am. the bad thing is that we still had to pack six boxes of our stuff before we had to leave. we had candles and flashlights everywhere. packing was horrible but it got done.

this was was one of the best trips i have taken. i found so much about my family. i realized that my family is just as messed up as any other family in the world. i spent 97% of my time with my dad's side of my family which is a whole lot of family. so many of my family members stayed at our house. i like our house because it can sleep at least 25 people without having anyone sleep out in the living room. we also got a dog. he's a 5 month old german shepherd named buddy. we didn't name him, his previous owners did. then we are getting a doberman in a couple months. i'm pretty excited. i love the philippines. the traffic and drivers are crazy but you get used to it after a week or so. i swear i was going to die the moment i got in a car. i really miss the philippines even with all the smog, traffic, heat, and mosquito bites.

it's less than 24 hours before i leave for the airport and i still haven't packed. i haven't even done laundry. haha! a bunch of my family is over helping my parents pack. it's a chaos in the living room so i'm staying as far away from that as possible. ok i should stop procrastinating and do laundry and pack.

yesterday was so much fun. it was probably the last beach day of the summer and it ended well. me, khaing, jen, eiei, and jina were the first ones to get there. as the day progressed more and more people came. we buried kevin in a whole twice. we were supposed to have a bonfire but all the pits were taken so we went to kevin's house. we made smores over kevin's stove. it was ghetto but it got the job done. =) the day was very eventful. i haven't laughed that much in a long time. i love my friends! =D

yay for the beach tomorrow! if anyone wants to come there is a beach thing tomorrow all day at bolsa chica. the only people i know that are going for sure are khaing, jen, kristina, and briggitte.

yesterday was fun. i went to watch world trade center and eat at a sushi place with megan and bryan. after the movie, we went to perfectly sweet desserts. it took us forever to decide what we wanted. we sat outside eating our desserts and figuring out what type of food each of us are. bryan is a lemon, megan is a coconut, and i am a cadbury egg. aah yeah, that's nice.

i leave for the philippines in three days. yay! but there is so much i have yet to do. i don't know if i will be able to. i got invited to a sick step party but i'm not sure if i can make it. it would be cool if i could go. i think i'm going to get started on packing or at least deciding on what to bring.

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY KHAING!!

the last twelve hours have led me to the conclusion that next year is going to be very interesting. i can't wait for the school year to start.

AAAHH! since july 14 to august 7 (approximately three weeks) i have spent $308.31. and three fourths of my spending in the past three weeks have been on eating out. this is nuts! but i guess it's ok. it has been a fun three weeks. haha.

i finally finalized my schedule next quarter. i only have 13 units because i can't take anymore or else i will run out of classes to take. i guess that's the down side of nursing majors at LSU.

this is the first day i stayed home for the whole day this whole summer. it was kind of boring. haha! but i did manage to get tickets for "lion king" this coming november. briggitte and i will be going to the pantages theatre on tuesday, november 28, 2006 at 8:00 pm to watch "lion king." we got tickets for $22. that's not too bad. and we got mezzanine seats, which i like since they're up above and are closer and have a better view than some of the seats on the bottom. i'm very excited. now i just have to wait for "wicked" tickets to go on sale. wOOt!

i have a headache, my stomach hurts, and i feel like barfing. but aside from that my weekend was excellent. on friday i went out with steph to citadel. it was a very successful shopping day for the both of us. i was supposed to go camping with kristina, jen, kris, kevin, gian, and teo this weekend but it got cancelled. after church, we (jen, kristina, kevin, kris, gian, daryl, and i) went to old town pasadena to eat lunch at kabuki. after hanging out at old town for a bit, we went to kevin's house to figure out what we wanted to do with the rest of the day. we ended up going to chris b and joe's surprise party at ardrin's house. while we were leaving the party, we realized that jen wasn't this us. gian started to freak out. he had his hands up in the air, ran back to the house, and was yelling "JENELYN!" haha, it was like he was the mother. we headed over to gian's house for another party for one of his cousins. i like family parties because there is always a lot of good food there. we watched "talladega nights." it was a funny movie but not as funny as "anchorman." we lost jenelyn again and gian was a little worried about where she was. haha! then we went to andrew r's house for his kickback party. his house was so hard to find because it was up in the hills. despite the hill and getting lost, the party was good. at his house he has steps that go up the hill and it overlooks the city. it was really pretty. i met a lot of really cool people there and somehow everyone calls me "jenny" now, at least the new people i met. i got home at around 3:30 am and kristina and jen slept over. i was supposed to go to a pancake party that megan told me about, but when she called me, i was too tired to go. jen, kristina, and i went to old town pasadena to return things and then ate at kevin's house. twas a good weekend. and i think i'm going to six flags tomorrow. i need to pack in as much hanging out with friends this week as i possibly can since i won't see a lot of people after i come back from the philippines since they will probably be at school already. one more week.

this has got to be my favorite ms. swan thing ever.

hmm.. interesting. haha! and i found out that my lolo (grandfather) used to have a really big large gun collection but got rid of it after he almost shot my uncle. finding new things about your family is funny.

i guess i was mistaken. i didn't stay home all day since kristina came over. we went to porto's bakery and walked to nordstrom rack. aah, good times good times. haha! too bad i didn't get to fix my router but i still might read or watch a korean movie.

it feels kind of weird being home all day. i haven't done that in a while. i'm not sure what i should do. i think i will fix my router, read, and/or watch korean movies. yeah, that sounds good.

would anyone like to buy me the infiniti g35 coupe?
